We are pleased to report that Tsugi was a sponsor of the very first Asia Game Sound Summit! Organized in partnership with GAME AiCON Seoul – the emerging rendez-vous for game developers in Korea – it was held in Gangnam, Seoul, on May 27, 2026.
The summit actually kicked off the evening before with “The Sound of Play”, the opening Night Concert, featuring indie game music from GAME AiCON and music by Maclaine Diemer from Guild Wars 2. All our thanks to Kevin Won, founder and lead Composer at Jade Chamber Sound, who made the Asia Game Sound Summit possible. You can see him below in his conductor duties!
The conference itself featured four hours of talks and discussions with speakers from across Asia and beyond. Highlights included an audio middleware roundtable, panels exploring the state of the game audio industry around the world and creative sound design techniques, a session on blending Eastern and Western musical traditions, and even a workshop on building custom workflow tools with FMOD!
It was inspiring to see game audio professionals, composers, sound designers, students, and developers gathered together in South Korea to share ideas, experiences, and their passion for interactive audio.
Finally, congratulations to the three attendees who won free licenses for GameSynth, DSP Motion, and DSP Action!
